Johan Beemster

My name is Johan Beemster. I was born in a small village called De Weere in the north-west of the Netherlands and i also raised up there. Now i live in Scherpenzeel in the middle of the country. I am a self-taught painter and like to make realistic paintings of landscapes and flowers.  The challenge for me is to keep the attention of the viewer on the painting. The ambiance and composition of the painting is very important for me. When you look at the painting you admire to be there. Your fantasy will go in all directions and you become happy. That is what i want to achieve.
